Funeral Reading

Grief, by its very nature, is overwhelming, draining and exhausting. Planning a funeral is a challenging and confusing task to undertake at a particularly distressing time in your life.

As your Funeral Celebrant, I am here to offer you reassurance, help and support every step of the way.

I am able to attend whichever civil venue you prefer – the crematorium chapel, a natural burial ground, a village hall or even your house or garden.

I am available for full Funeral Services, Celebration of Life Services, Memorials, Natural Burials and the Scattering of Ashes.

I truly believe that every person deserves a bespoke ceremony that reflects their individual desires and their true personality. A ceremony that highlights how they lived their life, and the unique traits that made them who they were.

Sometimes people are unsure about how to tell the true story of a life of a loved one or someone they knew. With my sensitive and meaningful writing and telling of their story, your guests will be in no doubt about the life they are invited to celebrate and the passing they are there to mourn.

Together, we will create this and ensure the true story of their life is told, so that the words are remembered long after the flowers have withered.

Working with your Funeral Director, I will guide and advise you in planning the order of ceremony and, explain exactly what will happen on the day.

You may wish to include music, readings, poetry or a spiritual ritual. You and your family may wish to participate, or wish me to read all parts of the ceremony.

The choices are entirely yours.
