I’ve known Mel for a number of years, firstly working at a FE college where her work was incredible and I realise what a kind lady she was. After a relationship breakdown I turned to Mel for some healing and she allowed me to feel safe to express my emotions. Mel never judges just listens. I also noticed at the college, that she talks to everyone the same whether they are the cleaner or the principal!…. an obvious thing to some but not all managers treat everyone the same !! That just showed the kindness in her heart.
